You can enhance your Desktop experience by doing the following.
- Use Office 2003 or later. These versions of office offer more interactivity with the Desktop.
- Use the latest version of Internet Explorer. To make sure you have the latest version, open Internet Explorer and go to Help | Check for Updates, or check with your IT department.
- Add the Desktop to your Trusted Sites.
- Open Internet Explorer, click Tools | Internet Options.
- Click on the Security tab at the top.
- Click on the Trusted Sites icon in the window.
- Click the Sites button.
- In the box labeled "Add this website to the zone", type the following: https://*.lawdepartmentdesktop.com
- Click the Add button. Click Close. Click OK.
- Add a Spell Checker. Download and install IESpell from IESpell.com.
- Use Alerts to stay up-to-date. Use the Desktop's Alerts system to be notified of new items, changes to existing items, etc. View the training modules on Alerts in the list below.
